RE: Lets see how long you have been married
DW's 1st- 1-1/2 years...My 1st- 8 years.
Ours- 17 years this October. It is definitely better the second time around !!
RE: Weber Baby Q and 20# Propane Tanks
We use a 20# tank (have one dedicated to the Weber) and a hose for our Weber. We even have a tee so that we can feed the Weber and the turkey fryer/ or my buddies grill.
I agree 100% on the close the grill valve and then open the tank valve slowly. You won't get much flow if you open it too fast.
Enjoy !!
RE: How does your trailer make you feel?
You're not alone. I shoot a photo or two of the trailer on almost every trip, even the short two night ones. A few are posted up in my cubicle at work.
And how many pics of the DW do you have in your cubie ?? :W:W
RE: Fuel Prices
Why aren't we going after the fuel companies? These fuel companies are laughing all the way to the bank and nothing is doing about it.
You start and we'll follow !!
RE: Hard side queen slide out, bunk bed models?
Rockwood 8318SS has slide out bunks on one end and Slide out Queen bed at the other with bath & kitchen in the middle. Nice TT..I'd have one if we got rid of our Jayco.
RE: Front Mounted Trailer Hitch
If you have room to manuver your truck around, backing is easier because you can use your mirrors to see where you are going. With the front hitch you are blind on both sides.
My thoughts exactly !
RE: Fold out step rugs
Camping World has them that wrap around the step and are held in place with springs on the underside of the steps. We're on our fourth season with ours.
We have these on our TT as well as on previous TT. Wash them off each time I wash the TT.
RE: trailer accessories are killing me
Some of the money spent was going to used at All Trucks Carlisle this year for a set of rims and a set of Harland Sharp roller rockers. Looks like I'll have to choose one or the other this year.
Go for the bling !! :W:W
I love the Carlisle Truck show...my favorite of all their shows.
RE: fuel at 4.89
28 gallons !! $124 !! Will stop by the same station tomorrow morning to gas up my commuter car.
prices the same this a.m. ....put $45 of $3.79/ gallon gas in the car :M:M
RE: Char-Broil Big and Easy
Good Thinking ! Let us know how it works out. We use a traditional turkey frier but mostly for steaming shrimp and lots of corn on the cob....and the occasional Fried Twinkie !! :W:W
